We store these details using Supabase in NOC Metals' separate database schema to respond to inquiries about products, pricing, availability and delivery. 2. AI Chat
The website assistant is AI-generated. Opening the chat requests a generated greeting. When you send a message, our server sends your message and recent conversation context to DeepSeek to generate a reply. Use chat for general product questions; contact our team directly for inquiries involving private business details.
The conversation is held in the current page's browser memory. The website does not have a chat-history database. DeepSeek receives chat content as our AI service provider under its Open Platform Terms of Service. This policy describes NOC's handling of website chat; DeepSeek's consumer chat privacy settings do not control this website.
3. Hosting and Request Protection
Requests pass through our hosting provider, Vercel. Hosting and diagnostic records can include IP addresses, requested URLs, request times, browser information and errors. Vercel describes its processing in its Privacy Notice.
To limit repeated chat and contact requests, the website keeps an identifier derived from your network address and recent request times in server memory. These records can remain until that server process clears or evicts them. Server error logs may also contain diagnostic information returned by service providers. These functions help operate and protect the site.

We do not use your contact information for marketing unless you request marketing communications. We do not sell, rent or trade your contact information or share it with marketing partners. Hosting, contact storage and AI processing involve the service providers described above.
